Long before Trovato Studio came to life, our founder spent more than 25 years operating a successful interior design business on Chicago’s North Shore. Throughout those years, one thing became increasingly clear: clients wanted custom solutions that reflected their lifestyles, personalities, and homes.

As designers, we often found ourselves creating original concepts and one-of-a-kind pieces specifically for our clients. The challenge wasn’t coming up with the ideas. The challenge was finding reliable sources capable of producing them at the level of quality we expected. That search for better resources eventually became part of our professional journey.

For more than a decade, we maintained a presence in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart, representing three luxury kitchen cabinetry lines and working closely with interior designers from across the region. Designers quickly became some of our most valued clients because they recognized something important: we understood their world. We understood the details. We understood the expectations. And we understood how important it was to translate a design vision into a finished product without compromising quality along the way.

While spending time in the Scottsdale area, we noticed something surprising. The area was filled with beautiful homes, discerning clients, and talented design professionals, yet many of the high-end resources available in larger design markets were simply missing. Product selections felt limited, customization options were often restricted, and many luxury projects required designers and homeowners to source products from multiple locations.

Rather than building another traditional showroom focused on a narrow category of products, we envisioned a design destination where creativity, manufacturing expertise, and premium resources could exist under one roof. That vision became Trovato Studio.

Although our Scottsdale showroom is still preparing for its official opening, interest has already exceeded expectations. The concept has generated significant attention from designers, builders, and homeowners alike, resulting in multiple large-scale remodeling and new construction projects before the doors have even officially opened. That response confirms what we believed from the beginning: there is a real need for a more comprehensive luxury design resource in the Scottsdale market.
